Berger Paints, a leading Indian paint manufacturer, has announced plans to invest around Rs 2000 crore in two new greenfield projects in Bengal and Odisha. The company aims to expand its overall production capacity by 25-30% in the next two years with the addition of these new plants.

Growth Expectations

Berger Paints expects to achieve 5% value growth in Q2FY25, driven by price increases. The company's long-term goal is to double its turnover to Rs 20000 crore by 2029.

Capacity Expansion

In its quarterly update, Berger Paints reported a volume growth of 11.8% in Q1 of FY2025, but value growth was limited to 2.5% due to factors such as price decreases. The company's three-year investment plan includes Rs 1800 crore for the construction of plants in Panagarh, West Bengal, and Khordha, Odisha.
